Taco Diablo is an independent, locally owned restaurant bringing bold tacos and fresh flavors to the heart of Evanston. Our menu blends Mexican-inspired ingredients with a modern, American twist, featuring house-made tortillas, vibrant salsas, and creative takes on classic street food. Every dish is prepared with care and served in a lively, casual atmosphere by a team that genuinely loves what they do.

Our bar program follows the same spirit. From margaritas to mezcal cocktails, we take a craft approach to every drink while spotlighting tequila and agave spirits. The result is a fun, energetic bar experience that pairs perfectly with tacos, friends, and a night out in Evanston.

Founded on a passion for food, drink, and community, our mission is to create dining experiences that bring people together. Each of our restaurants has its own distinct personality and menu, but they all share a commitment to hand-crafted quality, warm hospitality, and a lively atmosphere—they also all share one building!
